Rex

You know how there are people that love Halloween so much who decorate to the nines, have the perfect costume (every year) etc. etc? Yea, I'm not one of those people.
In my opinion Halloween gets in the way of Christmas. I think it's fun to see what people can create and come up with in terms of costumes. I love having a warm bowl of chili and watching the trick-or-treaters come by for candy. I love actually having the festive candy in the house (and sneaking a piece or 5 here and there). I love everything festive about it. I just don't get into it as much as other people do. All that to say, I already have my Christmas music going and am counting down the minutes until we can launch our new Christmas Collection on Thursday, Nov. 1st. Mark your calendars. It's going to be good!

Masked

As I've mentioned in the past, Halloween isn't one of my favorite holidays. However, in the few days leading up to it, I get into (a little bit). The candy corn is out, the pumpkins have their happy home on my kitchen island, the costume is still non-existent but I'm looking forward to a weekend full of fun celebrations!

Batwing

The easiest way to get away without dressing up is to wear something where face-paint can be applied or a simple accessory can be added and you can  call it a costume. In this situation, wear a batwing sweater, grab some bat ears at your  local costume shop and call it a day. My kind of costume....

DIY Circus Performer Halloween Costumes

While I've never been an avid fan of Halloween, there is one thing I look forward to each year and that is to see what crafty DIY costume Lauren Conrad & co. will come up with. This year did not disappoint... she created easy circus performer costumes that can even be done by the non DIYer. See her full tutorial here. She manages to create costumes that are cute, non-scandalous and always have a touch of the latest trends (notice the velvet
bodysuit on LC herself). She's the Halloween DIY costume queen.
