When clients circle back wanting new notecards for a new job, it completely makes my day! I loved working with Chrystal again, this time creating a design for her new career as a real estate agent. Congrats on the new role!

When your two fur babies actually become like children, a custom illustration is a must! I loved working on this project with Brittney, owner of Zero Nine Day Spa. If you're in Scottsdale, AZ, make an appointment to see her!

One of my favorite things about weddings is the cake, let's be honest.
Ok, but on a serious note, the best part is usually the bride's entrance.
I get chills every time (and sometimes tears), but it's that moment that
usually takes everybody's breath away. And, yes, we all take a peak at
the groom to see his reaction, but for the most part, all eyes are on the
bride. As a wedding attendee, my go-to wedding gift is a custom
illustration of the bride in all her wedding day glory. While it's been
a slower wedding season this summer, the few that I have been to have
been perfection in every way. Take a peak at two of my brides from this

Drybar x BFP

I loved working with Drybar a while back on a blogger mailer with some of their new products. We created custom illustrations for all the heavy hitters including Leandra (aka, the Man Repeller), Aimee Song, Kimberley over @eatsleepwear, etc. etc. Below are a few of my favorites:

If you or your hair are looking drab, pop into your local Drybar for a quick pick me up! You won't be disappointed (and will probably walk out with a bag full of goodies you just couldn't live without). You can also shop their products online at Sephora and Nordstrom just to name a few!

Courtney + Rett

An "I Do BBQ" is an easy and festive couple's shower theme, one that you can dress up or down. On the casual side, think red & white linens, backyard games like giant Jenga and corn hole, mason jars, etc. For a dressier approach, use southern-inspired displays like mason jars, but fill them with a more formal bouquet as opposed to sunflowers. Whichever approach you take, it's sure to be a hit! Be sure to pick up these themed wet wipes for a more personal touch (if ribs are served, consider them a must).
I was thrilled to create a custom invitation for a dear friend for her "I Do BBQ".

A garden party bridal shower? Yes, please. I loved using the
venue as a springboard to create this custom illustration for the
lovely bride...

I loved creating this fun illustration of a mother/daughter duo shopping their way through Main Street. It made the perfect gift for this 13 year old.

Rodan + Fields

I had the pleasure of working on a custom illustration for a Rodan + Fields Leadership Boost. As a fan of the brand and products, it was a natural fit.  We created everything from luggage tags and notepads to custom name
tags.... all for the attendees of the event.

Mai Tai for Tiffany

Tomorrow marks the first official day of summer, but my hair is already soaking in the sun and all the damage that comes with it. In an attempt to keep my hair as healthy as possible, good products can become a girl's best friend. Drybar's "Hotty Toddy" heat protectant spray and the silk pillowcase are musts in my book. I'm also eager to try the "Bay Breeze" hydrating shots for extra hydration for my countless split ends.  To get a messy, beachy look, add the "Mai Tai" spritzer to your cart asap. Top with Triple Sec 3 in 1 spray for those ultra messy waves.

An older custom illustration for the Louis-loving Southern girl with her beloved pooch in tow.

I love working on custom illustrations of brides (sometimes including the
groom, but only sometimes). I think it's such a fun way to capture the big day
and all of the bride's favorite details, whatever they might be. In this case, the custom blush gown with a very couture bow, the exposed brick in the background juxtaposed with chandeliers dripping from the ceiling with a pop of a black & white dance floor. Overall, the details pretty much looked perfect. Congrats to these two!

Brandi Williams

A custom illustration for a colorful, trend-setting girl on the go. It's even cuter that it was commissioned by her husband as a  Christmas gift - bravo! Surely he got major brownie points for this one.

With Valentine's Day a mere days away, it's time to start outfit planning. Red and pink are the name(s) of the game.

The most effortlessly stunning bride in the most picturesque garden

venue.... the entire event was perfection. Congrats to Ellen + Paul!

New year, new you, right?
I loved working with Dana on her custom illustration. She's a barre enthusiast /
nutritionist by trade with a killer home office. We wanted her clients to see her
branding and think of feeling comfortable and at home in her office. I'm sure she would recommend that I hit the gym more often than I do! We created the artwork in layers so she has the flexibility to use it with or without the kitchen background.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas from me to you!
When it comes to designing Christmas cards, doing your own is the hardest task each year. I always love including a recipe on the back, and with the loss of my grandfather this year, it was an obvious choice to include his famous pancakes. Enjoy!

Mary Raines

Barre workouts have been sweeping the nation for a few years now. I've been a fan from the beginning and continue to be one, especially this time of year when food is the focus. Don't forget to squeeze in a lift/tone/burn session before entering into a food coma Thursday.

Let's chat about a wedding that made my boxwood-loving-heart go wild. A boxwood wall with statement mirrors as the backdrop for the ceremony, the cutest clutch to carry after being announced as Mr. & Mrs., a detachable skirt that became a party dress for the reception, I mean.... I could go on and on. I had more fun flipping through the photos from this one. No detail was missed. The bride's look was perfection, the groom was dapper in a blue suit instead of the
traditional black tux... need I say more? I had so much to pick from and get inspired by for their custom thank-you notes.

Christmas Village 2016

image via The Tennessean
Christmas Village is a yearly event I've been happy to participate in for the past six years, this year makes seven. Before I was ever an exhibitor, I was a loyal shopper. It's a fun way to kick off the Christmas season that my mom and I never miss! I've also had the privilege of creating a brand image for the event each year. Our Village girl has changed over the years, but I'm happy to
debut the 2016 girl...

Blush Lash

When a lash extension studio comes calling, it seems like a perfect fit with my lashy girls. I recently had the pleasure of creating a logo for Blush Lash Boutique,  located in Layton, UT. The owners are about as sweet as they come! I'm fairly new to the lash extension world, but I'm already addicted. If you're in their area, give them a call.
We created two different looks for them to use in their marketing materials giving them the flexibility to mix it up while still retaining a sense of cohesiveness. Naturally, blush was the accent color of choice.
