Sometimes my illustrations are inspired by fashion, and other times it's as simple as a rug. I saw this rug on Target's website when I was looking for one for my own home. The first thing I thought of was I wonder what that would look like as a dress. While we might not have anywhere to go once we get dressed up right now, it's still fun shopping for special occasions.
