Bedroom Tour
Do we even call it a tour when my bedroom literally consists of a bed and two night stands? I moved into my current house about a year ago from a 600 sq foot condo. My new bedroom is more than likely double the size of my former bedroom and I have less furniture in it. The new room has a lot of doors and odd corners, so I there aren't any other walls for more furniture. Ok, you don't care. Let's get to it...
What about the bed? I get asked this a lot and I'm proud to say that it's just a headboard, and my parents helped me make it about 8 years ago. I had a vision for a big, white headboard and with a wood frame and layers upon layers of fabric, my vision came to life! The bedding is a collection of pieces from West Elm (Euro shams - no longer available), Pottery Barn (quilt), H&M Home (bedskirt, duvet + pillowcase set - queen pillowcases also available individually), my favorite Slip silk pillowcases, etc. The lamps and some of the accessories were random finds from TJ Maxx Home Goods, and the end tables are older from Pottery Barn (similar version here). I think that covers all the details!
Let's move on to the lounge set...
It's been one of my favorite finds on Amazon, so much so that I bought it in black, too (shocking). Yes, the fabric has pilled a bit, but you have to expect that a little bit with the price point. It's been the perfect set to have during quarantine and the months we've spent inside. Don't judge if I keep buying a set each season in a new color. Shop the top here, pants here, and slippers here. I'd recommend going up a size in the slippers (I'm an 8.5/9 and the size guide recommends a size L for sizes 9/10 - I honestly wish I had an XL). Other than that, they're super comfortable with a memory foam sole... how old am I?
